GooD meeting you!

My name is Erika and I moved in Northern Virginia in 2012.

You will recognize me from my thick southern Italian accent and my long black hair.

I don't consider myself a regular photographer. In my portfolio you will not see static poses or fake smiles. My photos are on the move. They are images of emotions, hugs, kisses ... hands holding each other , teasing glances and sincere smiles. With photography I want to show you your real YOU!

I have a special love for my two mutt dogs (Pabuf and Tebow), my handsome husband (Joey) and science (more or less in this specific order!!)

When I'm able to express myself best, I like to use the magic warm light before sunset and an old camera with film donated by my father in law. I like to think that this same camera captured the pictures of Joey's childhood. This camera gives me goosebumps ... Now I want to use it to capture spontaneous moments of love and life of other people.

I crossed the ocean to pursue my dream job in research. Once in the USA I found the love of my life and I started to capture every meaningful moment with my camera. I do believe that each of our lives is a unique adventure, that needs to be recorded and remember! If you agree, let's connect!

Stories need to be remembered,

or

we wouldn’t know who we are

and why we are here

FOR MY PERSONAL WORK, I LIKE TO PHOTOGRAPH ALL THE MOMENTS I'M SCARED TO LOSE. I USE THE SAME MINDSET EVERY TIME THE CAMERA IS IN MY HANDS...
