Elegant, Stylish elopement in Rustic Barn Venue Rockwood Estate, VA

When I first went to Rockwood Estate, I was astonished by the beauty of this place. Everything about it was perfect. There was a barn with red door, a historic house with an even older cabin and fields filled with horses and goats and wildflowers…

Everything needed as a wedding venue.

Then I met Mona, the owner. Well, you know when you immediately connect with a person? This happened when I met her. She is charismatic and fun and laid back, the perfect addition to this beautiful place.

And then I met Rubina, the founder of Sifthouse and seeing her stunning cake creation made me think that we should collaborate again all together!

And so we did. Planning was easy. We wanted to recreate a stylish, elegant, and still rustic elopement (you know, with COVID is not easy to have guests!).

Yen from Chickgirlflowers took care of the florals and Mona, Rubina and I had fun putting the decoration together…
